Person-Centred Support Worker
£12.00 per hour.
At Avon Support’s Warwick Hub we are looking for support workers to join our team to promote independence in a fun and inclusive environment.
You will be supporting people to develop their life skills and independence, encouraging learning and developing skills that are fun and engaging!
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one and group support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or challenging behaviours
* Assisting with daily activities, personal care, and social interaction
* Facilitating engaging activities and encouraging participation
* Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all clients
* Communicating effectively with clients’ families and healthcare providers
We are looking for:
* Compassionate and patient individuals with a strong desire to help others
* Fun Loving, Energetic, Upbeat, and most importantly Positive!
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
* Understanding of Autism, ADHD, and supporting individuals with additional needs

At our Warwick Hub, no two days are the same. We have a new kitchen set up for individuals to take part in cooking sessions, a room for discos and parties, and our own coffee bar where individuals can make drinks or learn barista skills!
We organise various trips out of the Hub with fun activities throughout the day, playing sports and visiting local attractions, including concerts, bowling nights, cinemas, social events, meals out, and plenty more! All our trips and activities are discussed and decided by the individuals who use our service.
