We are seeking a full-time Accounts Assistant to join our clients expanding team in Penarth. This is a dynamic and varied role ideal for an organised, detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support to the accounts team.
* Handle telephone and email queries professionally and efficiently.
* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor credit control.
* Resolve invoice issues and coordinate year-end accounts administration.
* Assist with clients' year-end preparation.
* Address complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Update Excel reports and internal systems accurately.
* Carry out general administrative duties to support the team.

Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Xero accounting software.
What's On Offer:
* Salary: Starting from £23,000 per year (dependent on experience).
* Hours:
o Monday to Thursday: 8.30 AM - 5.00 PM (1-hour lunch break).
o Friday: 8.30 AM - 4.30 PM (1-hour lunch break).
* Company pension scheme.

The role is based in Penarth, and candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
