If you have previous experience of working with children with additional needs, especially those with SEMH, then this would be an advantage, but picking the right person for our school and the child is more important. We are looking for someone who is flexible, hard-working, a true team player, can remain calm, manage the variety that such a position can offer, can work independently with a child on a 1:1 basis, willing to try and learn new things and the ability to find the positives, even on those tough days. They must, without doubt, have a sense of humour and fun Most importantly, you must adhere and agree with the values of our school.
