About the Role:
NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Accountancy firm based in Chester to secure a Payroll Administrator. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader. Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee weekly and monthly payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
2. Gather necessary information from clients to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
3. Process payroll data and generate pay slips.
4. Notify clients of PAYE and NIC liabilities.
5. Arrange BACS payments for employees.
6. Ensure compliance with pension filing obligations.
7. Conduct regular reviews to ensure payroll accuracy.
8. Address client queries and provide assistance with payroll matters.
9. Assist in setting up new payroll processes for clients.
10. Assist the Payroll Manager with marketing and promotional activities.
11. Handle various payroll projects, including statutory changes.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a payroll role is essential.
2. Bureau experience is helpful.
3. Good organisational skills.
4. The ability to work on your own initiative.
5. Personal drive and energy.
6. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
