Are you ready to play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records? At Nobia UK, we’re on the lookout for a UK Group Reporting Manager to join our talented Finance team.
Salary - £65,000 - 70,000 plus a company bonus
What you’ll be doing
Working within the Finance Reporting Team, you’ll hold the responsibility of maintaining accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations and support the wider business in adhering to processes and procedures, creating efficiencies and synergies in working practices, your day-to-day will include:
* Supporting the Head of Reporting and department with the completion of Statutory Accounts.
* Building successful relationships and co-ordinating with external Tax Advisors.
* Ensuring Balance Sheet Reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
* Completing and supporting the team with Fixed Asset & Capex Reporting.
* Lead the implementation of Accounting Policy & Regulation changes and updates.
* Co-ordinating the Year End & Quarterly audits.
* Supporting with the delivery of the Month End Close process and routines.
* Develop close working relationships with Store Compliance & Process Teams to ensure completion of store control checks are maintained.
* Owning the UK Group Cash Flow Forecasting.
* Setting clear expectations for Internal Control Team in relation to performance metrics and holding them to account for delivery.
What you’ll bring to the team
We’re looking for a detail orientated problem-solver with a passion for maintaining accurate financial records. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Professional finance qualification (ACCA / ACA).
* Be detail orientated and able to demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail.
* Ability to work with a wide variety of systems and has advanced Excel knowledge & experience.
* Effective leadership skills - able to engage, motivate and develop colleagues at all levels.
* Able to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels, both internal & external in an appropriate manner.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving, solution generation and delivering results.
* Experience of operating in a challenging and fast paced environment working to strict deadlines within the Company Procedures.
* Adaptable to work both flexibly in a team and independently.
* Experience from a practice background is desirable.
