Sales Manager
Location: Bristol
Hours: Full Time, 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + Bonuses
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead and develop a successful Sales Team. The role involves overseeing team performance, meeting KPIs, and ensuring the generation of new business in a business-to-business sales environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Sales Manager:
1. Motivate, monitor, coach, train, and develop the Sales Team.
2. Report daily and as required on team and individual performance.
3. Ensure the Team achieves all KPIs.
4. Identify under-performers and provide intensive coaching to improve their performance.
5. Deliver daily feedback to team members to maintain motivation.
6. Conduct performance reviews, including one-to-ones and PDPs.
7. Manage recruitment, induction, onboarding, and training for the Sales Team.
8. Drive success through effective use of data and reporting.
9. Lead by example, driving activity and performance on a daily basis.
10. Collaborate with Marketing on database management and campaigns.
11. Support the Sales Team in securing new business and building client relationships.
12. Ensure accurate maintenance of records and clear audit trails.
13. Undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
Key Skills of a Sales Manager:
1. A minimum of two years’ experience leading a team in an outbound B2B sales environment.
2. Demonstrated success in outbound sales.
3. Familiarity with CRM systems and campaign management.
4. Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
5. Strong persuading and influencing abilities.
6. Proven coaching and development expertise.
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
8. Results-driven with the ability to deliver team and company objectives.
9. Proficient in CRM systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
10. Strong time management and organizational skills.
11. Confident presenter.
