As clichéd as it sounds, you'll constantly want to change things up a bit, finding innovative and bespoke ways to put a smile on your customer’s face. You’ll be an expert at managing both the CEO of a business who needs a flawless, professional conference, and an over-bearing father of the bride who needs to be consistently updated to ensure his daughter’s day is as perfect as she is. These are little details that make you outstanding and mean you create memorable experiences for your customers.
What you’ll be doing as a Conference & Events Manager
1. Leading the provision of an outstanding event management service
2. Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
3. Coaching, mentoring and leading your C&B team with a trusting approach - ensuring their commitment to delivering outstanding and bespoke service
4. Getting to know your customers and using your relationships to offer suggestions to enhance their experiences, making them unforgettable
5. Working closely with your Operations Manager who will encourage you to love change and find your own unique ways to further enhance your guest experience
6. Oh, and you’ll also be required to be a magician. Or at least be capable of juggling each event, customer and guest whilst not missing any details
7. Managing stock and labour margins against your P&L.

8. You’ll already be an established in Conference & Events or Food & Beverage Management F&B background where you have looked after the MICE area
