Job role: Maintenance Operative
Job Type: Mobile role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Operative in Stoke-on-Trent. You will join the Mobile division to ensure all preplanned and reactive maintenance tasks are carried out on multiple sites.
This is a Monday to Friday position working a 40 hours per week, In return you will receive:
* Salary up to £28,000 per annum
* 40 working hours per week
* 23+ 8 days' holidays
* Tools provided
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including cleaning and organizing common areas, offices, and restrooms.
* Basic handyman duties and basic electrical knowledge,also experience doing plumbing,building maintenance experience is needed.
* Perform regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly.
* Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
* Assist in coordinating and overseeing external contractors for repairs and maintenance projects.
* Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in setting up and organizing meeting rooms and event spaces.
* Support the facilities team in various administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
* Basic knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Basic computer skills for email communication and maintaining records.
