Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join the team in our Kilmarnock - Queens Drive branch who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: 8am-12pm on a Saturday - additional hours will be available during summer months and busier periods.
Location: Jewson, Queen's Dr, Riccarton, Kilmarnock KA1 3XA
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects.
* Get to know our product lines and services.
* Develop great relationships with new and existing customers.
* Use our in-house systems to process customer orders and payments.
* Pick and prepare customer orders in the yard/warehouse.
* Keep the branch and yard/warehouse looking clean and tidy.
* Carry out stock counts, replenishment and rotation in the retail and yard areas.
* Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.
* Make Health & Safety a priority at all times.

Required Skills and Experience
* A flexible and positive attitude.
* A strong communicator - face to face and over the phone.
* IT literate.
* Happy with manual handling and outdoor working.
