The Quality Assurance Directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland has interesting and exciting opportunities for enthusiastic and positive healthcare professionals to lead, manage and deliver a portfolio of high-profile inspections which meet legislative, statutory and national requirements for delivery of care and services to the people of Scotland. This post is within the Regulation Team, specifically covering the regulation of independent healthcare services in Scotland.
The post holder is expected to lead multidisciplinary teams to identify, analyse and evaluate practices, systems and policies to support improved outcomes for people using health and care services in Scotland.
You will be required to manage and deliver a number of regulatory activities across a portfolio of services to support the safe delivery of care across Scotland.
We would particularly welcome applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses with current NMC registration, Registered HCP with mental health experience, or current registrants with the General Dental Council (we would particularly welcome applications from dentists or dental care professionals who have experience as a practice manager).
Regular travel throughout Scotland will be required (including overnight stays), this may be required at short notice.
