We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with PMLD experience to join dedicated and compasionate team in Bedford. As an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, ensuring they receive the tailored, compassionate care and educational support they deserve.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with PMLD
Assist in delivering personalized learning activities
Support students in their physical, emotional, and social development
Collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Foster independence and encourage engagement in classroom activities
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with students with PMLD or complex needs
A strong understanding of SEN and how to support students with diverse needs
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual learning styles
A commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are an advantage
