Accounts Assistant/Administrator
Location: Crayford
Salary: £13,866.67
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm (4 hours per day)
Job type: Fixed Term Contract, Part-time
Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Administrator to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities Of The Accounts Assistant/Administrator
1. Sales Ledger Invoicing
2. Oversee Purchase Ledger Invoicing processing using OCR.
3. Checking Supplier statements.
4. Liaising with the relevant teams to ensure the correct information has been collated and communicated to the Accounts team for entry.
5. Assist in month end and year end close procedure.
6. Assist in the collation of documents required for the company’s annual financial audit.
7. Ensure accurate information is kept on accounts contacts for Sales and Purchase ledger.
8. Administration requirements including answering the phone, posting, typing & ordering office stationery.
9. Ad hoc duties determined by the Financial Controller and department workload.
10. Reconciling Petty cash.
11. Reconciling Bank.
12. Receiving cheques.
13. Allocation of payments/Receipts.
14. Processing statements and Remittance Advices.
Requirements Of The Accounts Assistant/Administrator
1. 5x A-C/9-5 GCSEs including Maths & English.
2. Computer literate skills with experience using Microsoft office software including Excel.
3. Experience using Sage 200 desirable but not compulsory.
4. Demonstrate good organisation and communication skills.
5. Superb attention to detail.
6. Keen to learn.
7. Logical thinker with good investigation skills.
8. Be adaptable, hardworking, organised and mature.
9. Self-motivated, dependable, reliable with good initiative.
10. An interest in accounts career.
