As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll plan and conduct research, design and development on a wide range of projects. The assignments are broad, requiring originality and ingenuity, and there’ll be opportunities to lead projects. You’ll play a key role in solving problems and making sound design recommendations for our customers.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
* Delivering engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects
* Applying necessary design tools, policies and procedures to complete designs of customer products or systems
* Collaborating with multi-disciplinary Engineering and Manufacturing teams to design and execute best mechanical solutions for customers
* Delivering of projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages
* Using Mechanical principles of pressure sensing components in a wide range of Aerospace applications.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field
* Have a good understanding of Mechanical Engineering and its application in designing machinery and equipment
* Have Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering knowledge or equivalent professional experience
* Demonstrate a good technical and mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
* Have experience with ASME B16.34 and PED, 3D design (preferable Solid works/Ansys), mechanical design & tech writing.
