Either a PhD degree or an MSc degree with sufficient level of professional experience are required. Role/Description • Development of sustainable by design (SSbD) framework for biopesticides (BP) and biofertilisers (BF) as a part of a Horizon Europe project, • Application of SSbD along the life cycle of the developed BPs and BFs, • Actively participating in research group activities and attending multidisciplinary team meetings with research collaborators, • Presenting research results at internal and external meetings, • Writing technical reports and research papers. Required skills • A degree in Environmental Modelling, Physics or Mathematics and an MSc or a PhD in a relevant discipline, • Experience and a proven competence in Environmental or Mathematical Modelling, • A proven publication record consistent with the years of research experience in a relevant field, • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with other team members, • Demonstrated ability to write technical reports and research papers, • Evidence of high self-motivation, excellent communication skills and ability to work to project deadlines. Desired skills • Familiarity with sustainable by design (SSbD) framework, • Familiarity with IUCLID, EFSA’ Chemical Hazards Database, ECHA’s Information on Chemicals, OECD’s eChemPortal, • Experience in application of the Chesar tool for human exposure estimate and environmental exposure estimates (EUSES fate model), • Familiarity with LCA, LCC and SLCA.
