We’re looking for a solutions-driven, people-centered Branch Manager to lead our team in Timaru. You’ll oversee all aspects of the branch, including sales, customer service and engagement, operations, and team management. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving business growth, establishing strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and ensuring operational excellence, all while working with premium brands and technology in the market.
About the Role
This opportunity will see you:
1. Providing people-leadership across department managers and wider branch staff, cultivating a positive work environment through regular communication and the provision of coaching, training, and support to team members.
2. Overseeing branch operations with a focus on continual improvement to achieve budgetary and market-share objectives.
3. Leading the Sales Department to maximize return on investment and customer satisfaction, including optimizing processes and driving growth.
4. Maintaining excellent customer relationships, addressing any concerns promptly and striving for continuous improvement.
5. Engaging with the wider D&E management team, sharing effective practices and business insights.
6. Recommending policy and goal changes as necessary to improve branch performance and operational efficiency.
About You
Ideally, you’ll bring:
1. Proven experience in branch operations management in a relevant industry, preferably in the sales domain.
2. Experience building trusted relationships both internally and externally, fostering an engaged and cohesive team environment.
3. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and set goals, with a track record for driving results and achieving objectives.
4. Familiarity with inventory management and customer relationship processes.
