Are you a Tutor looking for sessional work?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Fashion Tutor to join our Creative Industries Department on a permanent, sessional (ADHOC) basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching fashion, textiles, and related subjects, particularly in the context of sessional and evening classes. You will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons, covering practical and theoretical aspects of fashion, including construction, textiles, and marketing. This role will involve covering staff absences and teaching evening classes. You will be responsible for providing ongoing support, constructive feedback, and ensuring that all students receive a high standard of education in a safe and inclusive environment.
In order to do this, you will need:
Certificate of education or PGCE.
Current and valid industry specialism.
Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
Minimum Level 3 occupational qualification.
English and maths minimum level 2 Grace C or grade 4 and above.
Experience with digital teaching tools and online assessments.
