About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our GMP Manufacturing team in East Hull, supporting our Pharmaceutical Manufacturing division in supplying a range of medicinal products and medical devices across categories.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for providing robust support in production and material planning. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our ambitious annual plan. Proven experience in a similar role is essential. Additionally, knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a manufacturing environment and an understanding of pharmaceutical regulations would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own & lead the Planning process and enforce rigor in execution.
2. Deliver robust demand and material planning to support the annual plan.
3. Proactively manage risks in the supply chain, create and manage action plans to mitigate consequences.
4. Monitor/analyze sales history, report forecast changes.
5. Lead monthly Planning review with Steering Team.
6. Establish regular performance reviews with Suppliers and Customers. Ensure that there is a robust process in place for the measurement, analysis, and action on continuous improvement proposals to refine supplier's conditions to reduce NWC and improve cash flow.
7. Drive and establish, when needed, processes to ensure clear communication around planning and dependent processes.
8. Responsible for implementing SAP MRP to support ongoing activities and business development plans.
9. Support project activities related to functional developments and new product developments.
10. Prepare RCCP to ensure continuous capacity review and submit proposals to avoid limitations.
11. Be positive, bright & keep a can-do attitude with a ‘hands-on’ approach.
Essential Skills
1. High attention to detail with the capability to have an all-encompassing view.
2. Excellent Excel skills with very strong analytical skills, able to deal with large amounts of data, in multiple formats and from different sources, consolidating all data and showing ability to identify and prioritize focus areas.
3. Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to detail. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments.
4. Relevant experience in planning, production scheduling and/or supplier management.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at various organizational levels.
6. Degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience in core business discipline.
