For this role, we are looking for someone who has the required knowledge and experience, as well as the drive, determination, and vision to shape how they deliver their future services to meet the needs of their clients and Transform. It is an opportunity to make a real change and build on their existing service delivery within Asset Management.
They currently manage just over 900 units (living accommodation). The role will focus on the delivery of servicing and compliance across our stock portfolio, including gas maintenance, fire alarm servicing, fire risk assessments, and other contracts which are service chargeable, such as grounds maintenance. These are currently delivered through their in-house repairs team and external contractors. Awareness of regulatory requirements is essential, and you will need to embrace IT. There will be regular contact and liaison with their in-house Repairs Team, Transform staff, external contractors, and clients, so good communication skills are required.
The role will involve frequent travel across their stock portfolio, so you will need to have suitable transportation. This is also a hybrid role, but there will be a need to be in their various offices as and when required.
They are ideally looking for:
1. Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing changes around service delivery.
2. Experience in delivering and managing statutory servicing and inspection regimes within the sector.
3. Experience in delivering and managing cyclical works and contracts, including those which are service chargeable.
4. Management experience of trade operatives or direct labour, and external contractors.
5. Ability to deliver works against agreed performance indicators, contractual requirements, and within agreed budgets.
6. Evidence of a strong procurement background, including the ability to produce specifications and ensure works are carried out to the required standard.
7. Awareness of property legislation and standards relating to social and supported housing.
8. Ability to organise your own workload and provide regular updates on progress.
9. Good IT skills, as this is a key part of the role.
10. Strong communication skills, especially in face-to-face interactions with staff and residents.
