We are looking for enthusiastic, kind, competent, and hard-working individuals that have confidence in multi-tasking and prioritising to work within our busy practice administration team.
Applicants should have a flair for exceptional customer service, should be IT literate, and enjoy working as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative when required. You should have excellent communication skills and adhere to patient confidentiality at all times.
This is a varied role and tasks will include:
1. Answering and making telephone calls to patients and external agencies
2. Arranging appointments
3. Signposting patients to the correct healthcare service
4. Processing of prescriptions
5. Filing and managing clinical mail
6. Inputting information and data into clinical systems
Previous General Practice experience is not essential as training will be provided; however, some understanding of medical terminology is desirable.
Vacancy 1 - 08.00-12.30 Monday - Friday
Vacancy 2 - 13.30-18.00 Monday - Friday
Flexibility to cover annual leave/staff absence is essential.
