We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, budgeting, audit, tax, and financial controls in our industrial manufacturing environment.

Description
1. Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
2. Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance to the board of directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
3. Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
4. Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
5. Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other corporate policies.
6. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
7. Responsible for all corporate and human resource activities including employee benefits, retirement plans, corporate insurance and related activities.
8. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
1. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
2. Professional accounting Qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
3. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
4. Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
5. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
6. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
7. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
8. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
