You will be based at our Hamilton Scotland location and will be required to travel to other office locations throughout the UK as and when required.
Responsibilities and Activities:
1. Receipt of customer jobs for quotations; liaison with clients; preparation of quotation in line with deadlines.
2. Conduct site visits with corporate and domestic clients as required.
3. Programming of works.
4. Liaison with all parties at contract start up and through contract life cycle.
5. Liaising with site operatives.
6. Ensuring adequate resources (drill rigs, engineers, technicians) are available to satisfy the demand for fieldwork including liaison with other internal departments and external suppliers. Timely delivery of commercial and technical records.
7. Meeting the fieldwork and delivery schedules as per the contract.
8. The financial management of contracts and maintaining data on the company platforms.
9. Preparing accurate measures and timely submission of invoices at intervals as prescribed by the Contract.
10. The production of appropriate health and safety documentation (risk assessments, method statements and Health and Safety Plans) together with their briefing and ongoing compliance.
11. Management of the client interface and managing their expectations.
12. Line management of field staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience of Project Management is essential.
* Experience and understanding of drilling methodologies and general drilling operations and/or experience and understanding of private water supplies and borehole pumps would be an advantage.
* Full driving licence (travel is a requirement).
