Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Lyneham, SN15
Start Date: February 28th
Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles available, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary with a view to becoming permanent
Our primary school serves children ages 4-11 and offers specialised support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including a dedicated Resource Base and inclusive programs like Forest School. We focus on nurturing the whole child in a mainstream environment with tailored support for individual needs.
Requirements:
1. Experience with children with ASD or SEND is highly desirable.
2. Patient, reliable, and adaptable with a caring attitude.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with staff.
Ideal Candidate:
Has 6 months experience in:
1. Nurseries, colleges, youth clubs, residential or care homes, or personal SEND experience
2. Graduates in sociology, psychology, sports, music, art, or drama
Additional Information:
1. Hours: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
2. Full-time and part-time roles available
3. Pay: £83.40 per day, based on experience
4. Initially temporary, with potential for permanence
