On behalf of our client, a well-known Hull brand with a national presence and international operations, Kingston Recruitment are currently looking to source a knowledgeable Pensions specialist to manage the administration of the related business functions.
The role will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the Company defined benefit final salary pension scheme and supporting the current defined contribution Workplace Scheme.
DUTIES
* Oversee team members who are responsible for the administration
* Ensure the Team complies with internal procedures and all aspects of pensions legislation
* Manage and distribute work to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Regular maintenance of the bespoke pension database
* Run, process and reconcile year-end reports to provide information to Trustees, Management, and auditors
* Complete appraisals with Team members
* Attend Trustee meetings and report on discretionary benefits
* Calculate DB pension benefits and ensure timely production of statements to members
* Maintain the Trustee bank accounts, process invoices, and keep the cashbook up to date
* Promptly and professionally communicate with scheme members, colleagues, and third parties when required via letter, e-mail, and telephone
* Support the communication and documentation of the current company Workplace scheme
Working full-time, 37 hours per week. Temporary or permanent positions available.
Flexible/Hybrid options available with possible consideration for a shorter working week.
