As a Substance Misuse Support Worker, you will be part of a team known for delivering exceptional services to those with substance misuse issues, helping them on their journey to recovery.
This is a temp to perm position, so we are looking for someone to work 3 nights a week to work in the service on a temporary basis with a view to move over to the client permanently after a successful 12-week period.

Key Responsibilities for a Substance Misuse Support Worker:
Provide day-to-day support to patients, ensuring their safety and wellbeing in a secure environment.
Assist with the delivery of individual care plans, ensuring timely and appropriate care is provided.
Work closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care.
Assist with maintaining a structured and supportive environment, including supporting patients during group and individual activities.
Support patients in managing their substance misuse recovery goals, providing encouragement and motivation.
Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and support the development of care plans.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of patient progress.
As a Substance Misuse Support Worker you must:
To be flexible full availability on nights is required – 37.5 hours per week (12.5 hour shifts)
Experience working in a support role, ideally within a substance misuse setting (preferred but not essential).
A passion for helping others and a strong desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
The right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
Flexibility on travel – some shifts may require you to drive or have access to public transport.
A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and the team.
