Position: Site Joinery Occupational Development Coach
What We Are Looking For: Are you enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative? Do you have a passion for teaching and supporting young people to become our community's future construction workforce? If so, we want you on our team!
We seek an individual who is driven towards supporting young people in becoming employed within the construction industry. As a Site Joinery Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering Level 2 and 3 apprenticeships, working closely with apprentices and employers to develop their skillset. You will track development in and out of the training center, regularly review candidates, develop their progress, and prepare them for the end-point assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver Level 2 and 3 apprenticeship training in site joinery.
2. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to apprentices.
3. Track apprentice development both in and out of the training center.
4. Regularly review candidates' progress and provide feedback.
5. Develop apprentices' skills and prepare them for the end-point assessment.
6. Collaborate with employers to ensure apprentices are well-prepared for the construction workplace.
Ideal Candidates Will:
1. Have teaching/assessor qualifications or be willing to work towards them within an agreed timeframe.
2. Possess subject specialism and experience in site joinery.
3. Be willing to provide outstanding support for learners.
4. Have enhanced DBS clearance (required).
5. Hold a full driving license (preferred but not essential).
6. Exhibit a positive and friendly attitude.
7. Be reliable and punctual.
8. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
9. Be a UK citizen or permanent resident for five years or more.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
