The Position: We’re looking for a Curriculum Administration Assistant to work part time, term time only for a fixed term period of up to twelve months. We are looking to appoint a forward thinking and self-motivated administration assistant to join our busy curriculum administration team. The role of the administration assistant is to work with campus administration officers to provide essential frontline and high-quality administrative support to curriculum teams to ensure the effective day to day operations of the College. You will be working at our busy Nuneaton and Harrowbrook campuses Monday – Thursday on a term time only basis. Successful applicants will be required to develop, work within and co-ordinate a range of administrative activities and be able to work to tight deadlines, prioritising workloads accordingly. They will be confident in using their own initiative to proactively improve systems and processes which enhance the support services provided to curriculum teams and ultimately our students. The ability to remain calm and professional whilst working in an extremely busy environment will be key, as is a positive and self-reliant manner. Discretion and diplomacy will be essential, and candidates must demonstrate a can-do problem-solving attitude. Workload anticipation is vital, along with a need to own, problem solve and prioritise. The busy nature of this role means you must be able to work at pace, to a high standard and with minimum supervision. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent administration and organisational skills, with recent and comprehensive experience in complex organisations (preferably obtained within an educational institution). The ability to take accurate minutes is a must, as is a high level of literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
