NURSERY MANAGER NEEDED
TITLE: Nursery Manager
Location : Harlow
Salary: £35k - £40k
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. They should have a genuine love for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team with an inclusive family feel.
Responsibilities:
* To lead the Deputy Manager, Third in Charge and Room Leaders to ensure the highest standards of Early Years care and education across the setting.
* To maintain an organised, safe and stimulating nursery environment.
* To keep accurate records and ensure procedures are followed throughout the nursery.
* To help build and maintain a reputation as the setting of choice in the area for both children and employees.
* To model and monitor best practice in accordance with regulatory guidelines
* To support and inspire your team across the nursery.
* To oversee the induction of new team members, welcoming them into the nursery.
* Provide a safe, caring environment for children where they can learn and develop through creative and inspiring activities and play.
* Support and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
* Build positive relationships with children, maintaining open communication. Supporting and recording their interests/achievements through observations.
* Promote positive behaviour management techniques, fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
* Ensure that the nursery environment is clean, organized, and conducive to learning and play.
* Act as a key worker for a designated group of children, providing individualized care and support as needed.
* Using a friendly approach with parents and carers and colleagues alike at all times.
Requirements:
• Previous nursery management experience
• Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS guidelines.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team.
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Have strong written and verbal communication abilities.
