Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term opportunity to make a real difference? We are seeking a committed individual to join a primary SEN provision in Peacehaven, working with children aged 4-7 years who have a range of additional needs.
- Supporting children with Autism (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, trauma, visual impairments, and complex communication needs, including non-verbal pupils.
- Working closely with a team to provide structure, stability, and a nurturing environment.
- Assisting with differentiated learning activities, sensory needs, and emotional regulation.
- Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour with a positive and patient approach.
- Helping to create a consistent learning environment, avoiding the disruption of frequent supply changes.
- A specialist setting within a mainstream primary school in Peacehaven.
- Supports children with developmental levels as young as six months old.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
