Description
As a Payroll Assistant you will be responsible for:
* Perform daily payroll operations, managing work flow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
* Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
* Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance.
* Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
* Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
* Process manual checks as required.
* Participate in projects as directed by the Payroll Manager.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and documentation.
Profile
A successful Payroll Assistant should have:
1. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures.
2. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
