You will provide on-site corrective / preventative maintenance and offer after-sales technical and commercial support to existing water treatment chemical customers.

What you will be doing....

Developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
*
Providing service, chemical treatment analysis, monitoring and account management to existing customers / contracts.
*
Providing Legionella controls, ensuring customer compliance with ACOP L8 and offering recommendations for best working practices.
*
Gathering site information and compiling / maintaining site log books in preparation for client review meetings, customers and audits.
*
Initiating water treatment programs on new accounts and commissioning new dosing / control installations.
*
Completing risk assessments, work reports, and other associated documentation.
*
Looking for opportunities where appropriate to sell parts, consumables, plant upgrades and refurbishment work, with support from the sales teams.
*
Keeping customers informed on future product development, features and functions and showing them how they will add value to their business.
*
Highlighting any issues that may result in financial, reputational or operational impact on the Company.

Seeking guidance and support as required to ensure the service provided to our customers is a priority.
What we need from you...
*
Hold an HNC, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry (or similar discipline). Alternatively, if you have significant hands-on experience, we're open to candidates with a background as an Operations / Service Engineer or in Technical Support / Laboratory roles.

Full UK driving licence required.

Experience with chemical water treatment, (e.g. cooling tower management, boiler optimisation) is a must, or the desire to learn and grow in this area.

Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations, find solutions, and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage a diverse workload, and explain complex issues clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
*
IT proficient, with a keen eye for detail, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
