We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, raising & posting payments, and ensuring smooth financial operations. The chosen candidate will be working closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and the Finance team.

Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.
Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Processing supplier invoices across up to 4 companies within the group, utilising the Accounts Payable Automation Software, Paperless.
2. Ensuring all invoices have been approved for payment in a timely and effective manner.
3. Preparation & reconciliation of month end payments.
4. Maintaining accounts mailboxes across the 4 companies and ensuring that all communications are dealt with effectively.
5. Preparation and delivery of payment planner and DD schedules for up to 4 companies.
6. Liaising with suppliers to ensure the effective running of the AP ledgers, including dealing with invoice queries, carrying out end of month reconciliations.
7. Raising & posting payment using the company accounts package.
8. Dealing with cashbook posting to ensure all areas are kept accurate.
9. Dealing and completing of all reasonable tasks as requested via line manager.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
1. Minimum of 3 years’ AP experience
2. Desire to progress within an account career.
3. Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
4. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
5. Ambitious, self-motivated individual.
6. Strong attention to detail.
