Role & Responsibilities
The Quality Engineer role is an excellent opportunity to join the team at Teledyne Microwave UK in Lincoln and support the QSHE Manager.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Identification of components to be subject to Incoming inspection and associated processes.
2. Support Inspection for both Incoming and Outgoing components
3. Completion of FAIR’s for both Incoming and Outgoing Components.
4. Non Conformance Managements and Improvement.
5. Vendor Audits and Improvement Activity (Scorecard, QBR).
6. Monthly Vendor OTD report ownership.
7. Internal Audits.
8. Problem Solving - Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
9. Continuous Improvement activity.
10. Data Analysis relating to Internal process control.
11. Further develop and implement both existing and new Inspection Standards.
12. Provide guidance to others as a 'subject matter expert' regarding QMS processes, generally accepted good industry practice and Quality tools (5-Whys, Fault Tree, Fishbone, etc…).
13. Create quality system tools and references to support a 'right first time' quality culture.
14. Reports key performance measures, performance levels and trends for all aspects of the quality management system.
15. Provide relevant and actionable information and data to various levels of management review meetings and strategy discussions.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
1. Higher technical education.
2. Quality related work experience in manufacturing company, electronics field is beneficial.
3. Experienced in Internal Audits.
4. Strong analytical skills to identify the source of problems.
5. Good MS Office skills, experience in SAP is beneficial.
6. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Knowledge of ISO 9001.
8. Great communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
