About the Role:
As a Fine Art Consultant and Studio Photographer at Zen Shots, you’ll go beyond the lens. In this role, you’ll guide clients through a personalized journey, showcasing your photography as premium, handmade artwork. You’ll consult with clients in our fine art consultation room, build strong rapport, and confidently close high-value sales. Each piece of art will tell a story, and you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing their vision to life on their walls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Artistic Expertise: Capture exquisite portraits of pets, newborns, couples, and families, ensuring every session creates artwork worthy of premium presentation.
* Sales Excellence: Present and sell your photography as custom, high-end artwork. Confidently navigate premium sales conversations, offering personalized solutions to clients.
* Client Relationships: Build rapport through meaningful interactions, creating a comfortable, trust-filled environment for clients.
* Fine Art Consultations: Assist clients in selecting and designing bespoke artwork for their homes, delivering an unforgettable, personalized experience.
* Studio Leadership: Lead by example, sharing your expertise with less experienced photographers and supporting the growth of our team.
What We’re Looking For:
* Photography & Sales Experience: At least 2 years of professional studio photography experience and a proven ability to close high-value sales. Strong digital retouching skills in Photoshop and/or Lightroom are a must.
* Confidence and Rapport-Building Skills: A natural ability to connect with clients, instilling confidence in your artistic vision and sales acumen.
* Passion for Fine Art: A genuine appreciation for premium, handmade artwork and pride in creating timeless pieces for clients.
* Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent English and an empathetic approach to understanding and exceeding client expectations. An important part of your job will be on the phones carrying out discovery and excitement calls.
* Driving License: A valid driving license is essential for traveling to our remote but picturesque studio.
Work Schedule:
* Weekends Are Key: As our busiest time, weekend work is ESSENTIAL. You’ll enjoy two off days during the week.
