Your new roleDouble days shift 6-2, 2-10 The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient operation of plant equipment & machinery within the company. The role will involve problem solving equipment issues, supporting & recovering reactive breakdowns, Identifying, leading & supporting maintenance.Continuous Improvement - working on both small Kaizen to large capital projects, Completion of routine maintenance tasks, with the goal of minimising downtime and to optimising productivity.
What you'll need to succeedYou will have:
1. A detailed understanding of differing equipment, machinery & systems including Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic
2. The ability to quickly identify and resolve maintenance issues
3. A clear understanding of safety regulations
4. Effective time management
5. Ability to identify, document and implement improvements throughout a maintenance environment
6. A relevant Engineering qualification, or relevant experience
