Job summary An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to undertake the role of a Band 7 Ward Manager on St David's Unit within the Mental Health Unit, Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The suitable individual must have post registration experience at Band 6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills required, as well as leadership and organisational skills. Negotiation and mediation skills are also necessary along with the ability to multi-task. Evidence of continuing professional development is required and you must have a commitment to teaching. Main duties of the job The post holder will carry twenty-four hour continuing responsibility for the management of their respective ward.
