Job Purpose
We are looking for a Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end bid and tendering process, identifying opportunities, managing submissions, and ultimately winning business for Dalkia UK. The ideal candidate will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of bid submissions in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Bid & Tender Management – Oversee the entire bidding process, from identifying new opportunities to final submission.
* Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all submissions align with business objectives.
* Proposal Writing & Development – Create compelling, high-quality tender responses tailored to client requirements.
* Research & Data Management – Maintain a database of bid responses, market insights, and certifications to support future bids.
* Compliance & Brand Alignment – Ensure all bids adhere to Dalkia's branding, policies, and quality standards.
* Process Improvement – Continuously refine bid management processes to enhance efficiency and success rates.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in managing and coordinating bids
Excellent attention to detail and creative writing skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
Degree qualification in a relevant field
Experience in bid writing within the engineering, facilities, or energy sectors
