Are you looking for a role where you can put into practice your experience in the electrical industry, as well as supporting our excellent training delivery team? If this sounds like you, we have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Technician working primarily from our York centre with national travel across our centres and occasional overnight stays to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be the go-to person to support our training centres with equipment and facility maintenance whilst helping to develop our products and services, providing you with plenty of opportunity to put your know-how into practice.
What will you be doing?
* You will work closely with the Operational Training Manager to maintain our equipment, products, and training centre facilities. You will also be supporting training and assessments for up to twelve adult learners during each training course for the electrical product area.
What we’re looking for:
* Minimum of level 3 Electrical Installation (236 or NVQ) qualification.
* Ideally at least 3 years industry experience within the Electrical Industry.
* Holds a full UK Driving Licence.
* City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified is desirable.
* City & Guilds 2919 Electric Vehicle charging is desirable.
* City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is desirable.
* Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent) is desirable.
* Experience in maintaining a site facility is desirable.
