We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Longforgan Primary School & Nursery.
This is an exciting time for early learning and childcare, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person who would enjoy being part of a large team to help deliver flexible, high-quality care, meeting the needs of all children aged 2 to 5 years.
Longforgan Primary School and Nursery is a beautiful place to work.
Our relatively new building offers a bright, spacious playroom, opening in to our P1/2 classroom, where our nursery children can develop in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
We pride ourselves on an attractive early years setting, which offers extensive indoor and outdoor space, which develops out learners in all areas of the curriculum.
For the role of Early Childhood Practitioner, you should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People, as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.
The Individual
We are looking to appoint a nurturing, innovative and committed ECP to join our welcoming team.
The individual appointed will be able to listen to, and be responsive to, learner needs demonstrating the skills, qualities and enthusiasm to further develop and build on the existing high standards of learner experiences within our setting.
The succesful candidate will be committed to continually enhancing knowledge and skills through working collegiately and through CLPL.
The ability to work well as part of team is essential.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated team at Longforgan who are committed to providing an excellent education for all young people and promote an ethos of inclusion.
