What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Management Accounting Responsible for Gross Profit for all international PR projects, including month-end accounting closes for all properties (clients include PUMA, NFL, Marriott, Visa) Continual monitoring of project costs to ensure that we are staying within pre-determined budgets Variance analysis of actual results against forecast Financial Accounting Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Oversight of vendor payments and liaison with group accounts payable function to ensure all AP payments are made on a timely basis Ensure sufficient controls are in place for vendor creation/AP and AR process & work to improve these processes Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis Preparation of gross profit forecasts for PR business unit. This involves liaising with Commercial colleagues to ensure all relevant information is compiled and reflected in forecasting system (BPC) Periodic cash-flow forecasting. Arrange and attend meetings with business leaders to ensure Global CRM system is up to date to track all confirmed deals plus anything in the pipeline. Updating of monthly report to reflect nee deals in CRM system Regular maintenance of deals in company CRM system Other Hold regular meetings for commercial teams to ensure costs are being reconciled and rebilled accurately and on time. You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job You Have These: Finalist/Newly Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) Experience of month-end close/posting journal entries Confident and willingness to challenge commercial stakeholders Flexible team player with the ability to work with commercial staff across the organisation, across different territories. Must be able to work on own initiative to identify and resolve problems Must be able to plan and organise work to meet deadlines and determine priorities.
