An opportunity exists for an energetic and innovative individual to join ShropshireCouncil's asset management team as the Property Data Assistant. You will assist theProperty Data Officer to ensure the organisation's property data is managed effectivelyand efficiently. Through a programme of continuous improvement you will ensure thatdata is accurate, reliable and accessible, and that data management activities andstrategy respond to opportunities and risk within and outside the organisation. You willassist the service area to support the delivery of the Council's Asset ManagementStrategy; making a positive impact across the organisation.
You will need to be a great communicator; working with colleagues and partners acrossShropshire. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability toforensically assess data and information and bring forward appropriaterecommendations or conclusions to support key initiatives. You will have experience ofidentifying and accessing sources of property information from within an organisation,and from external bodies.
