North Manchester General Hospital is looking to recruit an experienced tradesperson with an electrical bias to our ever-expanding team.
The Hospital is undergoing a huge redevelopment since being brought into the MFT umbrella of hospitals. Our vision is to improve the health and quality of life of our diverse population by building an organisation that:

This role is to directly support the Director of Estates in ensuring that the Directorate both creates and supports a caring environment through the delivery of an effective estates service at best value and quality.
An understanding of all disciplines with a bias towards electrical understanding is essential. The successful candidate will work across the site building and ensuring a safe and compliant electrical system.

* To maintain a high-quality environment for both clinical and non-clinical staff, patients, and visitors.
* Provide technical advice to other estates staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
* To assist, plan, and organise operational maintenance for the Trust under guidance.
* Execute a range of controlled operations e.g. isolations, interruptions of mechanical supplies, under guidance.
* Review and develop maintenance procedures including maintenance programmes for new equipment and regulatory changes.
* Provide estates assistance across MFT sites as required for resilience and as instructed by senior staff.
* Participation in the Estates on-call rota or any other rota as required to meet the service demands.
