Office Administrator - Finance
Menco Resolve Ltd is a small business, providing public health pest control solutions within Edinburgh & The Lothians.
Working within a small, but busy office, you will be involved in all aspects of the administration of operating a service business, from answering calls for assistance to assisting in the planning of service technicians.
However, there are additional specific requirements to provide admin relating to finance, such as raising invoices, carrying out credit control, banking, and accounts reconciliation. We use QuickBooks accountancy software; experience with this software is a must.
You must have the ability to self-motivate and organize your own workload to ensure all required tasks are completed.
Your role will include, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Booking appointments with customers
2. Liaising with partner firms
3. Assigning employee workloads
4. Processing work orders
5. Carrying out customer surveys
You should have experience with Microsoft Office and be generally IT literate, have good customer service skills, and be confident with a good telephone manner.
A general standard of education is required.
This post is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Each day is from 08:30 to 17:00 (30 min break).
Additional hours to cover holidays may be available.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
* Experience in data entry and clerical tasks
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to handle account reconciliation tasks
* Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
* Prior administrative experience is a plus
