Are you a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist ready to make a real difference?
As a Speech and Language Therapist in an acute hospital impatient ward with adults, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to individuals with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication and swallowing difficulties
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
* Provide evidence-based therapy for individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
* Offer support and training to families, carers, and staff to enhance communication and care strategies
* Work closely with other healthcare professionals within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care
Key Requirements
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
* Band 6 level
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Must be fully dysphagia trained
* Experience working with individuals with speech, language, and communication needs, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting
