Role Summary
Actively participate as a member of the Imaging Department team and contribute towards the smooth and efficient running of the Department. This is a dynamic, evolving role which will include:
1. Coordinating the workflow within Imaging modalities.
2. Assisting radiographers with patient flow.
3. Preparing and positioning equipment.
4. Assisting radiographers and radiologists with the positioning of patients for imaging examinations.
5. Assisting with patient transfers to and from the wards when required.
6. Acting as a trouble shooter between the multi-disciplinary team to ensure timely imaging.
7. Ensuring provision of the highest standards of care.
8. Performing caring activities such as preparing patients for their Imaging examinations and caring for patients following examinations, ensuring patients' needs, privacy, and dignity are met.
9. Assisting the radiographers with the care and preparation of the Imaging equipment, to include ensuring cleanliness of equipment, setting up sterile trolleys, and preparing contrast media.
10. Performing administrative and clerical duties across the department as required, including reception cover, appointment bookings, and data entry on all necessary clinical systems.
