Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Midlands
Salary: £35-45K basic salary, car allowance, competitive commission structure, 25 days holiday, company pension.
With a focus on distributing quality products to the print and signage industries for over 20 years and providing excellent service throughout this company has delivered sustained growth over a long period. By offering a diverse range of substrates, boards, digital print media, wrap films and sign vinyl they have a great reputation in the industry they serve.
Due to continued expansion they are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Sales Manager to focus on developing client relationships and driving sales within designated territories.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct sales presentations to existing accounts and new potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our products/services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Prospect and qualify new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to support sales efforts and provide feedback on market trends.
* Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
* Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients in a timely manner.
* Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights.
Skills Knowledge and Experience:
* Proven track record of success in sales with a passion for customer service.
* Experience in the Sign & Display sector is a massive advantage.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and a passion for exceeding targets.
* Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within designated territories.
