Attendance & Administration officer Salary: Grade 5, £25,183 - £26,409 Whole year salary, Actual salary: £21,757 - £23, 545 (approx. depending on years’ service Hours of work: 37 hrs per week (Mon-Thurs 8am – 4pm, Fri 8am – 3:30pm) Contract: Permanent, Term time only plus 5 additional days when students are not in the Academy. Responsible to: Attendance & Engagement Manager Start Date: ASAP (Notice Period dependant) We are seeking to appoint a knowledgeable and motivated Attendance & Administration Officer to join our Associate Professionals. Our Attendance team is a key part of the Academy. The team comprises of an Attendance and Engagement Manager, an Attendance and Engagement Mentor and an Attendance & Administration Officer. The role is one that comprises of both administration support and attendance monitoring. The successful candidate will track and monitor attendance to school and support with attendance related issues. In addition, they will support a very capable and highly efficient administration team with reception key tasks. The Academy prioritises attendance for all students and last year, both our Overall Absence and Persistent Absence rate were better than the national standard in 2023-24. In addition to this, the first term overall absence and persistent absence rates were also better than the national standard.
