We are seeking a confident, dedicated, and passionate Class Teacher to join their supportive and nurturing team.
🧩 About the Role:
This is a full-time, term-time only position, ideal for someone with a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised learning experiences to pupils with varying abilities, often working closely with support staff and other professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils
- Creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and development
- Supporting pupils with a wide range of needs, including communication difficulties, sensory processing issues, and complex behaviours
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and tailor learning strategies
- Providing emotional support and promoting positive behaviour, using de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed approaches
- Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records in line with school policies
- Attending regular staff meetings, training, and contributing to the wider school community
What We're Looking For:
- We welcome applications from Qualified Teachers with experience in SEN or mainstream education (Primary or Secondary), who are eager to transition into a specialist setting.
