About The Role: Shift Pattern: Monday to FridayHours Per Week: 40 As a Mailroom Porter, you will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining venue furniture according to event plans. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will ensure all furniture is in perfect condition, safely delivered, and stored. Your role will be essential in delivering exceptional service to all visitors and meeting client expectations. As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Set all venue furniture according to the plan issued for each event, ensuring all furniture is in perfect condition Ensure all services are delivered safely in line with all OCS operating standards, reporting all accidents and dangerous occurrences to your supervisor Ensure the upkeep, storage, and maintenance of all on-site furniture Ensure that all furniture requirements are delivered and managed to OCS standards and the client's expectations, delivering exceptional service to all visitors Conduct regular checks to ensure furniture is in good condition and ready for use Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient setup and breakdown of event spaces Assist with the movement and arrangement of furniture as needed during events Provide excellent customer service and address any queries or concerns from clients and visitors The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: You must have the right to work in the UK Ability to use own initiative and confidence to make quick decisions Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential Excellent organisational and communication skills Analytical problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail Flexibility in meeting client demands regarding availability and work hours, including weekends, public holidays, and evening work as required How to Apply: If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest You can also sign up to our job alerts when registering which will notify you when other suitable vacancies are available.
