13. resilient worker, able to work effectively in a team or on your own, taking ownership and responsibility for the cases you are assigned
14. confident and competent with relevant statutory and regulatory framework and have knowledge of an appropriate range of professional interventions
15. evidence of championing inclusion and diversity whilst making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people
16. solution focused person with the ability to deal with sensitive issues.
About the role
17. Supporting children and young people who are subject to Child Protection plans and Child in Need plans
18. Understanding when to transfer cases from the Safeguarding team to the Permanence team
19. Building strong and respectful working relationships with families, their support network and our partner agencies
20. Regular assessment writing, threshold application, home visits, direct work, care planning, chairing meetings and case recording in line with our policies and procedures
21. Ensuring that children and young people are actively involved in our work and their voice is captured in our case recording
22. Actively taking part in reflective supervision and group supervision
Qualifications
23. Relevant Social Work qualification
24. Completion of ASYE
25. Active Social Work England registration
