Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Assistant Centre Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our coworking space and supporting the success of our members. The ideal candidate will bring strong organisational skills, exceptional customer service, facilities management and a passion for supporting entrepreneurial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
1. Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the coworking space, including facilities management and health & safety compliance.
2. Ensure all office equipment and shared spaces are maintained to the highest standards.
3. Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
Member Engagement:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for members, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
2. Facilitate onboarding for new members, ensuring they are familiar with our facilities and services.
3. Organise and support networking events, workshops, and community activities to foster collaboration and engagement.
Business Development Support:
1. Support the Centre Manager in promoting the coworking space to potential members.
2. Assist in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to attract and retain members.
3. Provide administrative support for business development activities, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
Administrative Duties:
1. Manage bookings, memberships, and invoicing processes efficiently.
2. Monitor budgets and expenses in collaboration with the Centre Manager.
3. Compile reports on centre usage, member satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. British Passport holder
2. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in coworking, facilities management, or hospitality.
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
4. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with coworking management software is a plus.
6. A proactive attitude with a passion for supporting entrepreneurs and startups.
